Based on the CrossFit prescription of “constantly varied functional movement executed at high intensity,” our CrossFit program combines strength training with the “classic” CrossFit cardio workout. For this 1-hour class, you could be working on pull-ups, rowing, burpees and much more. Every WOD is different so you never get bored! We scale each workout to your fitness level, so you get the maximum workout every time.

We know every individual has a different set of goals — while some may be based on performance improvement, others may be more focused on weight loss. This is why we run 2 separate programs during each class.

Performance or Fitness?

All Day is very unique in the sense that we now offer not just one quality program during our class sessions but two! As you can see, we have one program labeled “Performance” and the other labeled “Fitness”. Running two programs has many benefits but can also be a challenge at the same time if you don’t know which program is best for you. We hope to shine some light on the subject.

The Goal for Each Program

It’s important to understand that neither program is “easier” or “harder” than the other. The challenge is what you make of it on both options.

Performance Program

If your goals are more performance-based, for example wanting to achieve a muscle-up, improve your one rep max on certain lifts, walk on your hands or play around with any of our more technical movements, Performance would be the perfect selection for you. The Performance program touches these movements- the types that challenge your central nervous system.

Fitness Program

Many may misconceive Fitness as a “modified” or “easier” program. Let me assure you this is not the case at all! The movements might be modified as we wouldn’t program a muscle-up or snatching for our Fitness group, BUT the volume is usually higher with a tempo to the lift which makes this program perfect for movement correction, body composition goals and boosting general health and fitness. This challenges athletes on more of a cellular level and is extremely challenging if you go as heavy as possible in the strength work and follow the prescriptions i.e. the tempo, rep range, interval intensity, etc.

Not Sure?

If you aren’t sure which program is best for your needs, no worries! We will steer you in the right direction and give you our honest opinion about what we think would be most beneficial for you and your goals! We are here to help and make sure you get the most out of your experience at All Day and achieve maximal results!
